About Us

Paul Hyland, owner and operator of Paul Hyland Salon and Day Spa launched his business in 1984 with a small, 3-chair salon with 3 employees.  As McHenry County has expanded, the needs and wishes of clients led to several moves and expansions.  In 2007, Paul expanded to his current location featuring a comfortably upscale decor with 12 styling stations, 2 treatment rooms and a nail/pedicure suite.  After more than 28 years in business, Paul and his staff look forward to the continuing evolution of products and services to meet the needs of their clients.   

Continuing Education
Our staff is dedicated to keeping up with the latest styles and trends in salon and spa services.  We actively participate in national and regional classes that provide our staff with fresh perspective and skills. 

Scheduling
We make every effort to schedule your appointment at a convenient time.   To avoid scheduling difficulties, we suggest that you schedule your next appointment after completion of your hair, nail, or spa service. 

Our Clientele
We provide hair care services for men, women and children of all age ranges.  Day spa services are reserved for clients over the age of 18.  Written parental permission is required for day spa services for children between the ages of 15-18.

Your satisfaction is our highest priority.  If you are not satisfied with your service, please notify us within 7 days to schedule another appointment.

Product Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction with all retail product purchases.  We match competitors’ prices.

Payment Options
We prefer cash or check but accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.  Credit card purchases are limited to payment for services, retail purchases and gratuities.
